By composing music for some of the most beautiful poems written here, be them basque, catalan, spanish, french or occitan in origin, he is in fact glorifying those different identities, cultures and languages that spring from these beautiful pyrenean mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Since the public premiere at the Ostal d\u2019Occit\u00e0nia in Toulouse (House of the Occitan Region) in october 2015 and the release of their self-titled album <em>Aria Piren\u00e8us<\/em> (Agorila label) in 2016, Michel Fenasse-Amat\u2019s pyrenean musical creation has been presented in various programmes such as the \u201cFestival de la Cath\u00e9drale de Narbonne\u201d, the \u201cSc\u00e8ne de Foix\u201d, and the \u201cFestival D\u00e9odat de S\u00e9verac\u201d, a tour greeted with acclaim by the press in august 2018 in the french Basque Country, with a finale in the courtyard of the <em>Ch\u00e2teau de Pau<\/em>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Aria Piren\u00e8us was programmed in the Toulouse event \u00ab\u00a02018 the year of Occitania &#8211; Tolosa Occitana\u00a0\u00bb, then in Spain in June 2019 at the Castle of Loarre (Province of Huesca) programmed by the Autonomous Community of Aragon, and in September 2019 in the Courtyard of the <em>Ch\u00e2teau Comtal <\/em>of the City of Carcassonne (programmed by the Monuments de France).<\/p>\n<p>In August 2018, a tour in the Basque Country will be decisive in establishing this creative work in the basque province of Basse-Navarre with in particular artistic residences at the Ospitalea of Irissarry (commandery of the XVIIth century &#8211; currently property of the Department of the Atlantic Pyrenees) in order to continue developing this work.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday 9th May 2022 at 8 pm the musical ensemble \u00ab\u00a0Aria Piren\u00e8us\u00a0\u00bb will be performing live for Europe Day at the Saint-Jacques-sur-Coudenberg Cathedral in Brussels.<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday 11th May 2022, The Univerit\u00e9 de Louvain will be welcoming Michel Fenasse-Amat for a master class on their Wolluwe Bruxelles campus. Rendition of the songs for choir and soloists of his musical works for Aria Piren\u00e8us. And so in this way, the music accompanies the poems written by the felibres occitans (Occitan writers known as the felibres) like Basile Cassaignau, Pol de Mounegre and Junior Sans, Catalans such as Miquel Costa i Llobera and\u00a0 Joan Maragall, the spaniard Antonio Machado, the Basque Jean-Baptiste Elizanburu, the Frenchmen Crevel de Charlemagne, Alphonse de Lamartine and Alfred Rolland as well as a few lyrics by Michel Fenasse-Amat himself.<\/p>\n<p>The artists :<br \/>\n&#8211; Michel Fenasse-Amat, autor-composer-singer<br \/>\n&#8211; The choirs &#8211; orchestral ensemble &#8211; plectrum ensemble (mandolins, guitars)<br \/>\n&#8211; Pierre Csillag, arrangements and musical direction<\/p>\n<p>The whole programme stems right from the heart of Occitania itself.
